The last 2 minutes of this music emerged from Shelly's piano on 22 February. She called it "Perdue", which is French for "Lost". She found it very sad. On 25 February Paco de Lucía died. A few days later, when the piece had been completed, she dedicated it to him. She had been astounded by the profound effect on her his death had caused. She was to be even more astounded about a week later....
